As a young man of 16, he founded several businesses, never shying away from hard work and a love of entrepreneurship modeled by his father. Earning money that sustained him through high school, he went on to college where he met the love of his life, Jill. They are still married thirty-one years later, and Kirk credits much of his success to her loyalty, talent and their joint belief in teamwork. Kirk is also blessed with a big family, full of nieces and nephews, and great friends that are his best advocates and supporters.
